Visual Paradigm International, a Hong Kong based company, was awarded Hong Kong Computer Society's Product Silver Award in the 6th IT Excellence Awards on Visual Paradigm for UML. The award is granted in recognition of outstanding achievements in technological innovations. This is based on the functionality, technical innovation. Visual Paradigm for UML was chosen by the panel of judges who comment, "Hong Kong's first full-featured UML CASE tool supporting realtime bi-directional round-trip code-model synchronization and the Model-Code-Deploy process in a single development platform... a huge investment of technical effort over a long development period."
These awards were announced on August 27, 2004 in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Computer Society will feature the award winners in the website.
