Embedding Diagrams in Microsoft Office Documents

Dear users,

Ever need to include technical or business diagrams in a document, or to include diagrams in a PowerPoint presentation?

Today you're going to learn how to seamlessly incorporate your diagrams into Microsoft Office 365 documents.

The recent update of Visual Paradigm Online features a new add-in tailored for Microsoft Office users. From now on, you don't need to copy and paste static images between applications. Simply embed your diagrams in your Microsoft documents and presentations. Editing can be performed right from your document, which helps you keep your work consistent and eliminates the back-and-forth.
Available Now
  1. 1. With your Microsoft Office 365 document opened, select Insert > Store from the ribbon (Insert > Office Add-ins for online version of Office)
  2. 2. Type Visual Paradigm Online in the search field and click the search icon.
  3. 3. Once you find the Visual Paradigm Online for Office add-in, click Add. This installs the add-in and the VP Online for Office panel is presented on the right side of the window.
  4. 4. Log in to your VP Online workspace with your account email address and password.
  5. 5. You can now navigate through your projects and select the desired diagram to be included in your document.
Don't have a Visual Paradigm Online account?

Sign-up for a free VP Online workspace today. Visual Paradigm Desktop users with active maintenance are granted free access to features of VP Online with no additional charge. To create a VP Online workspace, select Team > Select Repository from the menu of Visual Paradigm, choose Sign up VP Online and follow the on-screen instructions to finish things up.
