June 10, 2008 – Visual Paradigm International Limited announced today the release of Visual Paradigm for UML 6.3 (VP-UML 6.3), an award winning UML CASE Tool.
VP-UML 6.3 introduces a number of new features and enhancements, which include:
- Traceability support using Diagram Transitor
- Import Rational Software Architect project file
- Copy diagram elements as XML
- Introduce Event-driven Process Chain Diagram
- Introduce Process Map Diagram
- Introduce Organization Charts
- Support smart layout in Mind Mapping Diagram
- Share data object state in Business Process Diagram
Enhancements to VP-UML 6.3 include:

| VP-UML 6.3 is now available through the Visual Paradigm online shop (http://www.visual-paradigm.com/shop/) and through Visual Paradigm authorized resellers (http://www.visual-paradigm.com/shop/authorizedresellers.jsp). VP-UML is available under both single-seat (developer-based) and floating licenses. Single-seat licenses are available from US $99.00 for the Modeler Edition to US $1399.00 for the Enterprise Edition. Alternatively, these licenses can be purchased with a one-year software maintenance contract for prices starting from US $118.50 up to US $1678.50. A floating license is available from US $128.50 to US $1818.50, or US $154.00 to US $2182.00 including a one-year software maintenance contract. Both minor and major version upgrades are covered by the software maintenance contracts. |
