Class Diagram Enhancements

In order to let you model Class Diagrams in a smoother way, we have enhanced features in Class Diagram. Below are the changes made in VP Suite 3.2 (Service Pack 1).

Parameter Starts With "unnamed_" Would Not Display in Class Shapes

When the name of a parameter starts with "unnamed_", its name will not be displayed in the class shape, leaving the parameter type (if defined).

Example: named the parameter "unnamed_Str"

Class/Entity Memeber Area Detection on Text Only

With this enhancement, it will have a better detection on class/member selection so that we will not wrongly move class/member.

A class/entity member will be selected only if we click on the exact member text after the class is selected.

If we click on the blank area on the right of attribute/operation and then drag, it will move the class as this will select the class but not the member.

Dirctly Show Popup of Class Member Without Selecting It

In the old versions of VP-UML, no matter we right-click on a class/entity or on a class/entity member, it will trigger the popup menu for Class but not that for the member.

Now, we just need to right-click once on a member, the popup menu for that member will be triggered.

Hiding Specific Class Member

We can hide specific member when we right-click on a member and select Hide in the popup menu.

To show hidden member(s), right-click on other member and select Show All in the popup menu.
