Enhanced Annotation Support for Sequence Diagram

Note is a classical but yet very useful tool to be used to add annotations to diagram elements,. The annotation support in sequence diagram by using note and anchor is the further enhanced in VP Suite 3.3 SP1.

Sequence diagram, especially a low level one , can sometimes be hard to understand without annotations. In this article, you will learn how to add annotations to sequence diagram, using message as an example.

Add Note for Sequence Message

1.	Click Anchor -> Note resource of message.
2.	A note with an anchor will be connected to the message. Just type in the note to annotate the message.
3.	It will be easier to arrange an anchor connected with a message after setting its connector style to rectilinear.
4.	Click and drag on the anchor to layout it to the desired shape.
