Export business process animation to flash

This tutorial is aimed to cover the techniques required to bringing a business process model into alive by animating it. By reading this tutorial, you will learn how to make use of Animacian to walk through a path in a business process model, as well as to export animation into Adobe Flash.

1. Create a new project with name Member Registration.
2. Rename Business Process Diagram1 to Application Processing.
3. Draw the business process diagram as shown below:
   
4. Launch Animacian by selecting Tools > Animacian from the main menu.
   
5. Select Path1 from the list, and observe the path selection in diagram. The path of rejecting application is highlighted.
   
6. Select Path2 from the list, and observe the path selection in diagram. The path of accepting application is highlighted.
   
7. In Animacian dialog box, double click Path1 and rename it to Reject Application. Double click Path2 and rename it to Accept Application.
   
8. Select Accept Application.
9. Click on the Play button at the top of the dialog box.
   
10. Animacian is minimized to the bottom of diagram, and the animation is started playing. Watch the tiny black dot to traverse through the path until the end.
    
11. Drag the slider to navigate to the position where the task Review Application is just reached.
    
12. Click the Forward button once to move to the gateway Accept?.
    
13. Click Stop to stop the animation.
    
14. Now, let's export the flash to Adobe Flash. Open Animacian by clicking on the Show Dialog button at the right of slider.
    
15. We want to export the animations of both the acceptance, and rejection of application into Adobe Flash. Check Accept Application and Reject Application.
    
16. Click Export to Flash... at the bottom left of dialog box.
    
17. Fill in C:\Outcome\Animations as Path.
    
18. Set the dimension to 700 x 400.
    
19. Click Export.
20. The Flash is exported, and is opened in Web browser. Watch it until the end.
    
21. At the top right of page is the drop down menu for path selection. Pick up Reject Application to play with.
    
22. Watch the Flash movie until the end.
