XMI import and export

XML Metadata Interchange (XMI) is an OMG standard for describing the structure for storing UML model in XML format. DB Visual ARCHITECT supports importing and exporting XMI 1.0, 1.2 and 2.1. XMI provides an extendable platform for development team to develop a code generator to generate code from UML models. The exported XML contains all information of Visual Paradigm project file. There is also an option to export diagram preview images together.
