XMI import and export
XML Metadata Interchange (XMI) is an OMG standard for describing the structure for storing UML model in XML format. Smart Development Environment for IntelliJ IDEA supports importing and exporting XMI 1.0, 1.2 and 2.1. XMI provides an extendable platform for development team to develop a code generator to generate code from UML models.
XML import and export
XML aid information system to share data. Smart Development Environment for IntelliJ IDEA supports importing and exporting full or part of a project in XML format. The exported XML contains all information of Visual Paradigm project file. There is also an option to export diagram preview images together.
Visual Paradigm project file import and export
Smart Development Environment for IntelliJ IDEA supports exporting and importing full or part of a project to separate Visual Paradigm project file (.vpp).
MS Excel file import and export
Smart Development Environment for IntelliJ IDEA supports exporting and importing Microsoft Excel file. Excel is the best tool for mass editing of model element names and properties. You may export diagram to Excel file, edit their names and properties in tabular format, and then import the changes back to Smart Development Environment for IntelliJ IDEA.
