Adding users and project to VP Teamwork Server
Your team can work together on the same project effectively through VP Teamwork Server. Before you can start operating VP Teamwork Server, you have to install and administrate it. This tutorial will cover the installation and administration of VP Teamwork Server step by step.
- After you have downloaded VP Teamwork Server zip file, right click on it and select Extract Here from the pop-up menu to extract it.

- Double click the scripts folder and then double click startup.bat.

- Subsequently, the VP Teamwork Server dialog box pops out. It indicates that VP Teamwork Server is turned on.

- Enter your local server host and port number in Internet web browser, such as http://127.0.0.1:1999/admin.

- You can see the Server Configuration main page. Enter administrator's password and confirm the password by typing the password again. Enter organization name as My Company and then click Confirm button.

- In the Setup Teamwork Web Server page, click Browse... button under LICENSE KEY section to select the location of your license key and import it. Click Install button.

- Click Teamwork Server to click in the administration page.

- Let's add a user in advance. Click Add User button.

- Enter peter as username, password and confirm password. Moreover, you can customize the task(s) the user is allowed to perform in the project. Check Create Project and Update Project under PERMISSIONS section.

- Click Add User button.
- Create another user as john following the step 8 to 10.
- After you've finished creating users, you can create a new project. Open Projects tab.

- Click Add Project button.

- In the Add Project page, enter project name as Sales Order.

- Next, you can assign available users to perform the project. Select john and peter and then click Add as Read and Update button.

- Click Add Project button.
- Finally, Sales Order project is created with john and peter assigned to the project.
