Export design for commenting

Step 1 of 4: Get ready for commenting

Make sure the diagram(s) you want others to comment are all ready.

Step 2 of 4: Open ElaborView Manager

Select File > ElaborView Manager... from the main menu.

Step 3 of 4: To export ElaborView project

Under the Local tab of the ElaborView Manager, click on Export to ElaborView Project...

Step 4 of 4: Configure ElaborView project

Enter the name of ELaborView project. Specify the output destination of your design. Select the diagram for reviewing. Click Export.

Design commenting through ElaborView client

Step 1 of 7: Import project from ElaborView server

In ElaborView, select Server > Import Project... from the main menu. When you are prompted to download updates, confirm it.

Step 2 of 7: Open ElaborView project

Double click on the project downloaded from ElaborView server.

Step 3 of 7: Open diagram for commenting

Double click on the diagram to comment.

Step 4 of 7: Start commenting

Select the commenting tool on the left hand side of ElaborView for commenting.

Step 5 of 7: Commenting

Comment on the diagram.

Step 6 of 7: Complete commenting

Add all necessary comments to diagram.

Step 7 of 7: Submit comments

Click on Submit Diagram... at the bottom of ElaborView.

Generate UML design to report in Microsoft Word 2007 format. The MS Word 2007 report generation feature is available in Windows, Mac OSX, Linux and Unix platform. The latest version supports specifying MS Word document as template.
