Manage and apply styles

Style is a set of formatting attributes for diagram elements. Applying style to diagram element enables you to quickly change the formatting of diagram element without setting attributes one by one. The manage style function allows you to change formatting attributes of existing style, and all changes will be applied to all diagram elements applied the same style. Stereotyped element appearance

Stereotypes are extensibility mechanism in Unified Modeling Language (UML). Stereotypes allow modeler to extend the vocabulary of UML. Visual Paradigm for UML supports defining and applying stereotype for UML model elements. In addition, you may define formatting attributes (fill, line and font) in stereotype. When you apply stereotype(s) to UML model elements the formatting of the element will be updated to follow the definitions defined for the stereotype.
