Set Application's Font

Visual Paradigm for UML (VP-UML) uses the best possible font for its user interface. However, in case, the default font setting appears to be too blur and illegible for users, the font setting used in the application user interface is allowed to be customized with users' preference starting from VP-UML 8.0. In this tutorial, you can learn how to customize the application font in VP-UML.

  1. After entering VP-UML, select Tools > Options... from the main menu to open the Options dialog box.

  2. In the Options dialog box, select General page and open Appearance tab.

  3. Check Change application font.

  4. Now, you can change the font and its size. Select Artial Black from the drop-down menu of Font.

  5. Select 12 from the drop-down menu of Size.

  6. Click OK button in the Options dialog box.
  7. In the pop-up Message dialog box, click OK button. It notifies you to restart the application.

  8. Finally, restart the application. Close the current screen and launch your VP-UML.
  9. As you can see the application font is changed as shown below:
