Upon receiving a problem report or request of enhancement, we do our best to make the necessary changes. You will then be suggested to update your installed VP product(s) to the patch release, in which the fix or enhancement has been made.
In this article, you will see the update instructions. Before you proceed, please note that a patch release is made to cater specific users for a specific fix/change. You should update to patch ONLY if you are suggested by Visual Paradigm. We do not recommend users to treat patch update as a daily routine.

If you need to update for the whole organisation its licenses, what should you do then?
I can imagine that updating individually is asking for problems.
Could you please give me the detailed procedure for doing this?
How will you be notified that a new update is waiting?

If you need to update for the whole organisation its licenses, what should you do then?
[If you need to update license, this means that your team has just installed the new version, but without a valid key. For this situation, please download the new license key from our Customer Service Center https://cs.visual-paradigm.com . Then, distribute the key files to your team members. When they start the tool, they will be asked to import license key (due to the absent of valid license). Import the key, and close the Key Manager. That's all.]
How will you be notified that a new update is waiting?
[When we have released a new version, we will notify our customers through Email. You can then visit our Customer Service Center to download the new installer and keys accordingly.
Note that we do not notify customers about the release of hotfix (i.e. update of build number). However, when the tool is started it will check for updates automatically. Once an update is available it will download it at background, and notify you to update when download has been completed.]
