Interface overview of A3 Platform Activity view

Activity is work that perform within a Software Development Lifecycle. An Activity can be atomic or compound, which breaks work down work to finer level of detail through the use of Sub-Activities. Activities view is the page that lets you create Activities. You also can list Activities by applying appropriate filters.

1 Navigate to another core function of A3 Platform by pressing on a tab.
2 List/open an Activity based in different categories.
3 List/open an Issue based in different categories.
4 Select a process cell (i.e. location). The Summary page lists Activities saved to the selected process cell. Activities reported in Activity tab will automatically be saved to the selected process cell.
5 Summary tab lists Activities below. Activity tab is where you can read or report an Activity.

Toolbar. Here are the supported functions when Summary tab is opened:

New Activity - Click to open a blank form of Activity where you can fill in the detail of Activity and create it.

Configure Table - Press on it to set the columns, sorting of columns as well as the number of row to show per page for the table of Activities.

Show Sub-Activities - Press on it to list also Activities that Sub-Activities of others.

Show Closed - Press on it to list also Activities that have already been closed.

Select Label - Filter Activities by their labels. Only Activities marked with selected labels will be listed.

Mass Update - Press on it to set the changes you want to apply on all the Activities checked in the table of Activities, to perform a mass modification on them.

Export to PDF - Press on it to export selected Activity(s) to PDF file.

Excel - Press on it and select whether to export or import Excel of Activities.

Search - Click on it jump to the Search page to search for an Activity.

Refresh - Update the table of Activities.

<drop-down of filter> - Filter Activities base on the following categories - My Assigned / My Submitted / My Watching.

Here are the supported functions when Activity tab is opened:

New Activity - Click to open a blank form of Activity where you can fill in the detail of Activity and report it.

Create Similar Activity - Press on it to create a new Activity base on the opening one.

Configure > Label - Press on it to create, edit or delete labels that can be set to Activities.

Configure > Type - Press on it to create, edit or delete custom attributes for Activities.

Search - Click on it jump to the Search page to search for an Activity.

Refresh - Update the table of Activities.

Edit - Press to edit the opening Activity. Unpress to exit from editing.

Print - Click on it to print the opening Activity.

Watch - Click to watch the opening Activity. Watching means to monitor the Activity. People who are watching an Activity will be notified when the Activity is being updated.

Show Link - Press to show the URL of Activity. You can browse the Activity by visiting the URL.
