Enabling Update Server
Besides the Teamwork Server module, there are three other modules you can choose to enable in VP Server: Floating License Server, Update Server and ElaborView Server. Update Server provides a centralized place to download product updates from the Internet, and let client products to connect to it to perform updates.
- In the Teamwork Server server machine, open a web browser and visit: http://127.0.0.1:1999/admin
- Enter the username of administrator (default: Admin), the password and click Login.
Logging into VP Server as administrator - Click on Setup for Update Module.
Setup Update Module - Now, you can start scheduling the checking and downloading of updates, and/or installers. For a complete user's guide of Update Server, please refer to the Update Server user's guide.
