Managing projects

A project contains model(s) that describe the target system or application. It is to be edited and completed by members of a team.

Adding project

1. In the Teamwork Server server machine, open a web browser and visit: http://127.0.0.1:1999/admin
2. Enter the username of administrator (default: Admin), the password and click Login.

3. Click on Projects for Teamwork Server.

4. Click Add Project in the Projects section.

5. Enter the project name and the relative project directory. The relative project directory is the name of the folder to create under the repository folder in server. If you have no idea about what to enter, just leave it as-is.

6. Select the project source. Here you have two options. For Create new project, a blank new project will be created. For Import existing project, it lets you start with an existing .vpp project file. If you select this option, click Browse... and choose the .vpp file.

7. In the popup window, assign users or user groups to project. Select the users or user groups from the list of available users. Note that there must be at least one user be assigned to the project in order to add the project.

8. Click on either Read Only or Read & Commit for the selected users against this project. The Read permission means that user can only checkout the project and read its content. The Read & Commit permission means that user can both read the project content and commit changes to server.
9. Click Confirm when ready.
10. Click Save.
