• So once the proposal is written, the project sponsor evaluates it to ensure project costs and
benefits are weighed before a commitment of resources is made and that the project to be taken
will create value to the organization.
• If unfortunately the proposal failed to justify the project, the project sponsor will cancel the project,
and that’s the end of the story.
