Visual Paradigm Academic Partners Program is aimed to provide support to tertiary education institutions for adopting object-oriented technology through applying and practicing with the cutting edge award winning UML modeling software from Visual Paradigm. Through our product, students will have hands-on experience in the real-world development environment.
Educational institutions participating in this program will be entitled to free site licenses provided that the software is solely used for teaching. (The term "Academic" includes all tertiary educational institutions, and Free Academic Site Licenses are subject to the final approval of Visual Paradigm).

| How to qualify for our Academic Partners Program: |
All Visual Paradigm academic partners licenses are granted for academic, non-commercial purposes only. Licensees under this arrangement must certify that they will use the Visual Paradigm product exclusively for providing educational services, and cannot be intended for the benefits of third parties.
In order to join our Academic Partners Program, you are required to complete an application form. Upon receiving your application we will send you an Academic Partners Program certificate web page for you to mount on your web server. This arrangement enables us to verify your identity and your representing organization that you claim to be from. Once this web page is placed on your web site, we will send you a one-year license. With this license, which is renewable annually, you will enjoy online support and regular software upgrades.

| Academic Partner Types |
Visual Paradigm offers two types of academic partner program. They are the Basic Academic Partner Program and the Professional Academic Partner Program. The major difference between the two partner types is the edition of the software which is supported.
