Introduce Process Map Diagram

Process Map Diagram helps to draw a simple picture of processes in approaching a business goal. It is rather in a upper level of analyzing and understanding a business process. Process Map Diagram is supported as one of the business process modeling diagrams in Visual Paradigm products.

Below we will show you the notation of the Process Map Diagram and how to draw it in VP tools.

Drawing Process Map Diagram
1.	You can create a new Process Map Diagram by one of the following ways:
	•	Main Menu
		Select File > New Diagram > Business Process Modeling > Process Map Diagram in the Main Menu.
	•	Toolbar
		Click New Process Map Diagram on the toolbar.
	•	Diagram Navigator
		Under Business Process Modeling, right-click on Process Map Diagram and select New Process Map Diagram.
2.	Enter the diagram name.
3.	Click Receive on the diagram toolbar and click on the diagram to create a Receive shape.
4.	Enter the name of the Receive model.
5.	Move the mouse cursor over the Receive shape, the resource icons, which help you creating shapes with connectors in an easy way, will show around the shape.
6.	Click the resource icon Process Link -> Process to add a Process shape with a process link in between.
7.	Enter the process name.
8.	Send can be created by similar way - click the resource icon Process Link -> Send shown besides the process shape.
9.	Enter the name of the send model.
