Visual Paradigm Suite not only provides a visual modeling platform but also provides a publishing function to allow modeling team to publish the design to web enabled format. Modeler can publish the whole project to HTML format and upload to Internet or Intranet server. The published content is 100% server and browser independent. Just a plain web server can host the published content. Visual Paradigm employed a lot of Ajax technology to make the published content user friendly. For large scale project, modeler can schedule a routine job by script to update the project from server and publish the content in mid-night.

In VP Suite 4.0 SP1, the published project also support layer. The diagram viewer can show/hide layer(s) using browser. Just like modeler show/hide layer(s) in VP Suite. Let's show you how to publish the project.

Publishing project to web format

1. Click "Tools" > "Publish Project" menu item.
2. Select publish folder and click "OK" button.
3. View generated content in web browser.
4. Open "Regular Inspection To-be Process" Business Process Diagram and click "Layer" button.
5. Showing Layer dialog box.
6. Set "Annotation" layer to visible and click "Close" button.
7. All callout shapes in "Annotation" layer are shown.
