ArchiMate enterprise architecture diagram
The ArchiMate Enterprise Architecture visual modeling language provides a standard representation of system components from business point of view. ArchiMate also helps the I.T. team to develop I.T. system that aligns strictly to business goal, in the most effective way.
As an all-in-one enterprise architecture tool, Agilian supports ArchiMate, UML, BPMN and SysML. You can use ArchiMate to integrate different domains and models, such as the business process models that represent workflow and use case models that represent system functions.
Agilian complies with the ArchiMate 2.0 specification. It supports all the ArchiMate notations, plus the improvements issued in version 2.0, which includes the Motivation extension and the Implementation and Migration extension.

Social networking with PostMania
Chat with the architects, analysts, designers, developers or whoever in your team directly inside Agilian, right in a diagram. PostMania, a private social networking platform designed for enterprise architecture teams, facilitates easy discussion of enterprise architecture designs. It enables team members to post and reply discussions to a diagram or a shape. Just make a post to ask for change, and moments later you receive a reply from your teammate, saying "Done" and with a smiley face. PostMania simply breaks communication barrier and improves the bonding of your team.
User interface designer
During requirement capturing and design stage, system analyst may need to illustrate and document the screen designs to customer or among team members. Traditional screen designers usually tie up with specific programming language that inherits a lot of constraints when designing and annotating screens in early development stage. Agilian provides a full featured screen designer for system analyst to illustrate and annotate screen designs without limitation. Develop enterprise architecture in a team-oriented environment. Combining with the use of Visual Paradigm Teamwork Server (Teamwork Server), team members, no matter how far apart they are, can work together as if they are sitting next to each other. Teamwork Server is a central repository with version control capabilities that allows enterprise architecture team to retrieve a design, work on it, commit it and share with the rest of the team. Corporate documents can be stored along with the enterprise architecture designs. Architects or managements can browse an enterprise architecture design anywhere through a Web browser. Teamwork Server simply makes enterprise architecture much easier.

Elaborate enterprise architecture with sub diagrams
As an all-in-one enterprise architecture tool, Agilian supports not just ArchiMate, Business Motivation Model and Zachman Framework, but also other modeling standards essential in developing a truly functional IT system, such as UML, BPMN, SysML, DFD, ERD, etc. While you can use enterprise architecture to align business objectives, business processes and IT infrastructure, you can draw sub diagram for each of the enterprise architecture component to model their details. So there will be sub UML deployment diagram for showing the hardware arrangement, a sub business process diagram for representing workflows, a sub UML use case diagram for representing system requirements, etc.
Internal references between diagrams, shapes, model elements
Keeping enterprise architecture design simple makes it much easier for key stakeholders, high level management to understand the enterprise architecture and make decision. Just because enterprise architecture designs are simple, does not mean they don’t have any values for other business users. With the reference feature, different components can link together for elaboration purpose. For example, a procurement process in ArchiMate can reference to a business process diagram that visualizes the procurement workflow. This provides senior managers who look after the procurement process with the information required to understand both the enterprise and business process.

Plug-in support (Java)
Visual Paradigm plug-in provides an extendable platform for developers to add functions to Agilian. Developer can reference to the plug-in development guide to build their own plug-in to read, create, update and delete diagrams and model elements. Developer can use Java to develop plug-in. The following screenshots outline the steps to create plug-in for Agilian.
