Export Requirements to MS Excel

You may want to produce a checklist of Requirement for studying the completeness of Requirements or to discuss users' needs with teammates. The Excel export function can let you generate an Excel of Requirements. Besides exporting, you may also import an exported and modified Excel back to A3 Platform to update users' Requirements.

Export to Excel

  1. Open the Requirements view.
  2. Click on the Excel button. Select Export... from the drop down menu.

  3. This shows the Export Excel dialog box. If you want to export any file attached to Requirement, check the option Export Attachments. Click OK.

Import from Excel

  1. Open the Requirements view.
  2. Click on the Excel button. Select Import... from the drop down menu.
  3. Click Browse and select the Excel file to import.
  4. Click Preview to check what will be changed by importing the Excel.
