Interface overview of A3 Platform Issue view

Issue is a bug, defect, complaint that require attention and action, possibly a fix or clarification of problem. Issue often comes from an Activity or Test Case, raised by tester or end user/customer. Issue view is where people report or study issues.

Region Description
1 Navigate to another core function of A3 Platform by pressing on a tab.
2 List/open an Issue based in different categories.
3 List/open an Activity based in different categories.
4 Select a process cell (i.e. location). The Summary page lists Issues saved to the selected process cell. Issues reported in Issue tab will automatically be saved to the selected process cell.
5 Summary tab lists Issues below. Issue tab is where you can read or report an Issue.

Toolbar. Here are the supported functions when Summary tab is opened:

New Issue - Click to open a blank form of Issue where you can fill in the detail of Issue and report it.

Configure Table - Press on it to set the columns, sorting of columns as well as the number of row to show per page for the table of Issues.

Show Closed - Press on it to list also Issues that have already been closed.

Select Label - Filter Issues by their labels. Only Issues marked with selected labels will be listed.

Mass Update - Press on it to set the changes you want to apply on all the Issues checked in the table of Issues, to perform a mass modification on them.

Export to PDF - Press on it to export selected Issue(s) to PDF file.

Excel - Press on it and select whether to export or import Excel of Issues.

Search - Click on it jump to the Search page to search for an Issue.

Refresh - Update the table of Issues.

<drop-down of filter> - Filter Issues base on the following categories - My Assigned / My Submitted / My Watching.

Here are the supported functions when Issue tab is opened:

New Issue - Click to open a blank form of Issue where you can fill in the detail of Issue and report it.

Create Similar Issue - Press on it to create a new Issue base on the opening one.

Configure > Label - Press on it to create, edit or delete labels that can be set to Issues.

Configure > Type - Press on it to create, edit or delete custom attributes for Issues.

Configure > Lookup - Press on it to modify the lookup values for properties Platform, Version, Product and Component.

Search - Click on it jump to the Search page to search for an Issue.

Refresh - Update the table of Issues.

Edit - Press to edit the opening Issue. Unpress to exit from editing.

Print - Click on it to print the opening Issue.

Watch - Click to watch the opening Issue. Watching means to monitor the Issue. People who are watching an Issue will be notified when the Issue is being updated.

Show Link - Press to show the URL of Issue. You can browse the Issue by visiting the URL.

7 When Summary tab is selected, a list of Issues is shown here. When Issue tab is selected, this is where the form of Issue appears.
