Enabling Floating License Server

Besides the Teamwork Server module, there are three other modules you can choose to enable in VP Server: Floating License Server, Update Server and ElaborView Server. If you have purchased a floating license, you can enable the Floating License Server and import your key into the server for clients to access and obtain license. Floating License Server module also lets you monitor the consumption of licenses as well as to define access code.

1. In the Teamwork Server server machine, open a web browser and visit: http://127.0.0.1:1999/admin
2. Enter the username of administrator (default: Admin), the password and click Login.

3. Click on Setup for Floating License Module.

4. In the server setup page, click Browse... under the License Key section. Choose the floating license key file floatinglicense.keys.
5. You can optionally fill in the Email section. By supplying an Email, Floating License Server will send an Email to the specified Email address when the number of license request exceed the number of available license in server.
6. Click Install to complete the setup. Now, clients can access this floating license server to acquire license key. For a complete guide of Floating License Server, please refer to the Floating License Server user's guide.
