Smart Development Environment 4.4 Service Pack 1 Released

Visual Paradigm International Limited announced today the release of Smart Development Environment 4.4 Service Pack 1 (SDE 4.4 SP1).

SDE 4.4 SP1 introduces a number of new features and enhancements, which include:

• Import Rational Software Architect DNX file into Visual Paradigm

• Reduce Diagram Space by Attracting Shapes using Magnet

• Creating Stereotyped Model Type Using Diagram Toolbar
• Preview local and server changes before commit or update

Enhancements to SDE 4.4 SP1 include:

• Full Gang of Four (GOF) Design Pattern Support

Pricing and Availability

SDE 4.4 SP1 is now available through the Visual Paradigm online shop (visual-paradigm.com/shop/) and Visual Paradigm resellers (visual-paradigm.com/shop/authorizedresellers.jsp) beginning today. SDE is available in both single seat (developer based) license and floating license. Single-seat license are available from US $99 for Modeler Edition to US $1399 for Enterprise Edition. Alternatively, these licenses can be purchased with a one-year software maintenance contract for prices starting from US $118.5 up to US $1678.5. A floating license is available from US $128.5 to US $1818.5, or US $154.0 to US $2182.0 including a one-year software maintenance contract. Both minor and major version upgrades are covered by the maintenance contract.
