I found E-R Modeling and database modeling useful since there are many options to configure on each model and entity, giving me less work to do when programming the database.

Just wanted to write a brief note to thank you guys for such a great product. I was sitting in a restaurant yesterday with a first time client, and during 1 hour managed to capture about 90% of the user information I needed to implement the project by creating a business diagram from the client's mind, and then simply converting that into use cases which I'll later connect to stories and prototypes.

You've simplified my job so much that I'm now working on 4 projects simultaneously, which I could never do before. One of the projects I'm trying out really using your VPository to share live model updates and project management. I'm a bit new to that aspect, but so far ... works great!

Just wanted you to know that your application is truly a life-changing one for me.

I went in my teaching from Enterprise Architect to Visual Paradigm. I use 30-day FREE Trial Version in four weeks teaching block because we are small private university and I can not get involved in Visual Paradigm Academic Partner Program. I have to be of course in my teaching very efficient. The only problem is that students need for their research and bachelor thesis choose another software.

Over the past five years I have used several leading UML modeling tools in an academic setting. I have found Visual Paradigm best suited for this purpose for the following reasons:

1. The learning curve is short which I attribute to the "user-centric" modeling paradigm.
2. The interface is intuitive ? I recently conducted a UML workshop at a regional conference of computer science educators. Workshop attendees, most of whom used other UML tools in a variety of settings, remarked about how much easier VPUML was to use than their current UML tool. This is particularly important when dealing with novice users.
3. Visual Paradigm has a small footprint and runs efficiently on our present hardware, unlike several other products that would have required regular upgrades to provide adequate processing resources. Additionally, Visual Paradigm is cross-platform, so Linux-users can use it also.
4. Visual Paradigm is focused ? it has the requisite tools to get the job done without adding extraneous functionality, bloated code, and "noise" into the process.
5. Visual Paradigm's on-line tutorials are, in my opinion, unsurpassed in being informative, concise, and helpful.
