For the past 20 years, the prestigious Jolt Awards are given each year to recognize software development tools that have "jolted" the industry in how effective, efficient and simple-to-use they are. And the winners are selected by a panel of distinguished judges made up of industry gurus and software development editors and columnists. Past winners include IBM's Rational Software Architect and Borland's Together Designer, to name a few.
