Generate report in MS Word format
Word Report Generation is a new feature in VP Suite 2.3 SP3. It use for generate report in Microsoft Word format (.doc). Like generate PDF report, it supports a higher level of customization such as cover page, header and footer, table of contents, table of figures and diagram ordering.
Visualize tagged value to diagram element
A tagged value is a combination of a tag and a value that gives supplementary information to the model element it is attaching to. A tagged value can be used to add properties to any model elements and can be applied to a model element or a stereotype.
Support automatic updates
Starting from VP Suite 2.3 Service Pack 3, we provide a mechanism to notify you for an update when a certain time interval elapsed. On the seventh day after your first launch of any Visual Paradigm products, when you launch any product, a notification will show to remind you on update the product.
Sub-diagram and reference indicator
Sub-diagram structure allows users to describe a system with different levels. A deeper level describes the system in more detail. Reference is another feature that is used to enrich the presentation of diagrams by allowing the addition of file linkages and URLs to shapes. Starting from this version, we provide a convenient way to add, check and access sub-diagram and reference of shapes.
Enhanced undo for resource centric created shape(s)
The Resource-Centric Interface is a powerful feature for creating a shape from an existing one with a connection added between the source and the target shape. The undo and redo action have been enhanced in this release.
Support on update and on delete foreign key options
Most of the modern database support specifying on update and on delete options. This helps in reducing the amount of SQL statements needed to perform an update or delete action and also maintaining the integrity of the database. The latest VP Suite 2.3 SP3 supports generating DDL file with on update and on delete options which allows you utilize these facilities provided by the DBMS.
Support instant reverse JDK 1.5 generic syntax
Starting from Java 5.0, a new core language feature generic is added. Within Visual Paradigm for UML and Smart Development Environment, enhancements are produced on related features. Java Instant Reverse is one of the enhanced features.
Generate DAO in Java Interface
There are several types of Persistent API available for ORM code generation. The decision to which API should be chosen is depending on the practice of coding. One of the Persistent API is called DAO, which helps client to create, retrieve and persists data to the Persistent Object through static methods. Starting from this release, a new Persistent API is introduced for Java ORM. It is a variation of the DAO, and is called DAO (with Interface).
New html report
Starting from VP Suite 2.3 Service Pack 3, a new HTML report generator is introduced, replacing the one supported by the earlier versions. In addition to the fresh new look for the generated report, it also supports a higher level of customization such as content selection, front page, table of contents, table of figures and diagram ordering.
