DB Visual ARCHITECT 4.2 SP1

Visual Paradigm International Limited today announced the release of DB Visual ARCHITECT (DB-VA) 4.2 Service Pack 1.
In this release, enhancements include the support of adding folders as 'Favorites' in file and directory chooser, the support of exporting JPG files with various qualities, grouping shapes easily with the aid of resource-centric interface. Finally, Class Diagram is enhanced to make it easier to work with Class shapes, which influences the behavior for both selecting and moving Class and Class Members. |

| Adding Folders as Favorites |
In order to increase the efficiency of modeling, we may have a specific folder in our machine to store relevant materials, such as documentations and projects, so that we can easily pick up what we need.
In consideration of this, we have enhanced all file/directory choosers in our tools to allow adding folders as favorite. Once you add a folder as favorite, you can revisit the folder by clicking on the favorite link whenever you want to pick up the materials inside. |

| Grouping Shapes with Resource Icon |
The grouping feature helps us to organize shapes in a group so that we can manipulate related shapes together (e.g. select, deselect, move, resize, etc.) in an easier way. Groups can be formed on shapes, you can also form a new group on top of existing groups.
In VP Suite 3.2 Service Pack 1, we can group shapes simply by the resource centric interface, which helps us to group shapes more easily. |

| Adjust Image Quality for Exported JPG files |
| Sometimes, we may export diagrams in different format. In VP Suite 3.2 (Service Pack 1), when we export diagrams as JPG images, we can choose to export the images in various quality levels. The higher the quality, the larger is the file size. |
