Sometimes two phases of development are required, but it's not a best choice to re-create another diagram which is similar as the original one. Now all the shapes can be duplicated to create a new diagram by Diagram Transitor, also transitions will be formed between corresponding original and new shapes.
Diagram Transitor provides an instinctive way to have development states modeled. It's particular useful and time-saving for modeling diagrams which have slight difference only.
Let's see how the Diagram Transitor works! We are going to transit from an As-is business process to a To-be business process below as an example:
| 1. | Right-click on the diagram and select Transit to New Diagram in the popup menu. |

| 2. | A new diagram is created with duplicated shapes completely copied from the original diagram. |

| 3. | Now you can edit the models in the to-be process and this will not affect the original models. |

| As the new diagram is created through Diagram Transitor, transitions are formed between original and newly copied shapes. You can always transit between the models by the model transitor. | |
| 1. | In the To-be process, right-click on the model and select Model Transitor > Transit From, the name of the original shape will be shown. |

| 2. | Select the original model and it will open the original diagram with the corresponding model selected. |

| 3. | On the contrary, you can right-click on the as-is model, select Model Transitor > Transit To and then select the to-be model. |

| 4. | It will jump to the diagram and highlight the corresponding to-be model. |
