Rotation of Caption Labels in Business Process Diagram (BPD)

Initially, when you customized the placement of caption label of a shape, you could only choose the direction but the caption labels kept horizontal. Visual Paradigm for UML (VP-UML) 8.0 supports rotating caption labels vertically, you can now rotate caption label either on the right or on the left vertically. This tutorial will show you how to rotate the caption label of gateway in BPD.

Open the business process diagram with VP-UML.
The caption label of Purchase? gateway is now placed below the gateway. Let's rotate the caption label. Right click on it and select Presentation Options > Caption Placement from the pop-up menu.
In the Configure Caption Placement dialog box, you can customize the caption labels from the drop-down menu of Placement. Try to rotate the caption label on the right. Let's see the difference between left-rotated and right-rotated.
