Customizing TOGAF ADM with your own steps and activities
One size doesn't fit all when it comes to enterprise architecture development. That's why our TOGAF ADM Guide-Through allows you to tailor the ADM process with customized process steps and your own actionable work items, fitting your specific project and organization needs.
Add, modify and remove steps in activities. For example, under the activity that develops business process architecture model, you may want an additional step to conduct a review meeting with a particular stakeholder.
A work item defines an activity that appear on the TOGAF process map. Work items represent the actual activities to perform and the information required. The Work Item Composer features an array of authoring features that facilitate the development work items both for instructing enterprise architects and for collecting the information required by the process.
Reduce the complexity of a work by breaking down a work item into multiple steps. This allows the completion of work gradually from one stage to the next.
Action artifacts are the heart of work items in that they define the actions to perform. A rich set of actions can be defined for a wide range of purposes:
Besides process tailoring, you can also tailor the deliverables to better fit your organization's needs and standards. The drag-and-drop Doc. Composer allows you to build and edit deliverables with the data you need and in the order you preferred. In runtime, when the information required by a report is provided, a Word report will be automatically generated.
Doc. Composer is a powerful report builder designed for custom report production. The report builder consists of a document editor and a list of ADM work items and artifacts. To build a deliverable, simply drag the artifacts onto the document in the order you preferred, and that's all! Building a TOGAF ADM deliverable has never been easier.
Configure the visual file cabinet to fit your need. By associating the process reports to the drawers, documents will be generated and archived in the drawers in runtime.
